In the following table, those choosing medium and small rural locations are highlighted. It appears that schools with rural admissions emphasis, those states with more geographically isolated locations, and "Elite" schools contribute. These are usually private schools with little graduation of FP at all, but those that manage to survive and go into FP, go all the way as Pathman has described. Harvard, Hopkins, Mayo, Vanderbilt. These may also be National Health Service Corps scholarship recipients, further studies are needed in this area.
